Here you will find the monthly newsletter Working Well that covers a wide range of pertinent ergonomics topics to help keep you and your employess comfortable and productive on the job. Current topics from the August/September 2005 issue are:

  • Thought Bytes...
A look at the replies to my postural comfort survey that has been posted on my web site for the last 2.75 years.
  • You asked for it!
Can larger girth contribute to MSI’s in the arms?
  • Feedback
A suggestion to avoid shoulder and upper back concerns when pushing and pulling.
  • Stretch your Imagination
The scapular retraction strengthening exercise will help un-round your shoulders and un-hunch your back.
  • It's not too late!
There is still room in the November session of the Office Work Station Assessments Training course (OWSAT). The cost of the course is $495 and the dates are November 2,3 & 23, 2005. This is a great way to create internal resources to help employees set up work stations, teach basic correct working postures and help make good purchasing decisions. Don’t delay… the deadline is October 20.

Coming up in Working Well next month:
