Stretch Your Imagination

A strengthening exercise for the upper back that helps pull the shoulder blades back to the body.


Lie on your stomach with your forehead on a rolled towel or small pillow. Stretch your arms out to the sides and lift them equally off the ground. At first lift just the weight of the hands and arms, holding for 2 or 3 deep breaths. After a week, add a can of pop to each hand. Later add a dumbbell of up to 5 lb.
