Basic Rules of Office Ergonomics (45 minutes) $225.00

Learn correct postures from the feet to the head and out to the hands, and how to make simple adjustments to your work station. Participants receive the "Basic Rules" handout.


Logical Lifting (45 minutes) - $225

Informs workers so that they can make reasonable, informed decisions on how to use the body to minimize the risk of injury focusing on lifting postures and working heights. This training includes:




Home and Hobby Ergonomics (45 minutes) - $225

Explore the common working heights associated with different levels of task complexity related to your favourite pastimes. Tool selection and use impacts on posture and effectiveness of muscle use are discussed. Posture at seated workstations and correct lifting covered briefly.




Introduction to Office Ergonomics (1.5 hours) $375.00

Expands on the Basics to include more detail, injury explanations and stretching exercises. Topics include: sitting, standing and lifting; keyboarding and mouse use; monitor and document position; telephone use and correct use of tools and supplements.


Injury Prevention at Work and at Home (3 hours) - $475

Postures, common injuries, making simple changes in the office, selecting and using chairs, stretches, lifting, storage, working heights for home and hobby, and much, much more!.


Office Work Station Assessment Training (OWSAT) $495.00 per person

This is a train the trainer approach which takes place over 3 days. On completion of the course, participants will be able to assist their co-workers to set up a work station, provide instruction on correct working postures and make appropriate purchase decisions. Courses offered in April and November each year.


Drivers' Injury Prevention Program (90 minutes) $375.00

Driving, like sitting, is a not an activity the human body was designed to do. The Drivers' Injury Prevention Program shows through demonstration and participation how to reduce the physical effects of driving. Workers learn what happens to their bodies from extended driving by doing simple range of motion exercises, and how stretches and movements can reduce the impacts of holding prolonged postures. Of course, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and other issues are covered as needed, depending on the industry.
